Dr. Lauren Evans, O.D.
Dr. Lauren Evans joined Four Seasons Eye Care in 2021. She works to further develop a name for herself in the area by providing complete primary eye care, specializing in treatment and management of ocular disease, contact lenses, and binocular vision.
A graduate of Concord High School in small town Michigan, Dr. Evans obtained her Doctorate in Optometry from the Chicago College of Optometry in Illinois, graduating in the top of her class. She completed four externships.
She studied Glaucoma at the Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut. She studied Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, and Low Vision at the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic in Chicago. She studied Dry Eye as well as treatment of ocular disease at Bowden Eye & Associates in Florida.
Dr. Evans loves providing glasses and contacts that patients love, a skill she refined at award-winning optical, Midwest Eye in Illinois. While in Optometry school, Dr. Evans participated in vision and medical screenings where she learned how systemic health conditions, such as Diabetes and Rheumatoid Arthritis, affect quality of vision. Her competitive side also enjoyed intermural basketball and volleyball.
Loved ones in her family are affected by Keratoconus, Macular Degeneration, and Diabetes. Dr. Evans is a big advocate for regular eye exams for people of all ages and encourages her patients to invest in their long-term health and happiness.
She is motivated to help every patient achieve and maintain the best vision possible so they can live, work, and play without worrying about their eyes. Dr. Evans resides in Plymouth, MN. Her hobbies include boating, hiking, beach volleyball, cooking, trying new wines, concerts and traveling.
